Join us as we embark on a literary and photographic adventure through the breathtaking Smoky Mountains this April! In this blog series, we'll visit many towns and backroads- including Cades Cove- as we discover its unrivaled beauty and discover its unmistakable charms.

Imagine 11 miles of history and nature surrounded by the magnificent peaks of the Great Smoky Mountains, a tranquil stream telling tales from centuries past, and leaves rustling underfoot, creating nature's beautiful melody. Come join us as we venture deep into the heart of these incredible mountains - exploring its rich history, diverse wildlife, mesmerizing light-dark interplay, and breathtaking natural wonders!

Through my experiences, I strive to capture the spirit of the Smoky Mountains through photographs taken through my lens. From gracefully roaming deer, black bears playing hide-and-seek in the trees, and wild turkey calls, to their melodic calls filling the air, every step feels like dancing with nature itself and I'm so thrilled to share these intimate moments with all of you!

As we explore local towns, expect vivid descriptions, captivating photographs, and perhaps some surprises from the heart of the Smoky Mountains. Join me as we celebrate its beauty; fasten your seat belts dear readers; I invite you on an exciting literary escapade through its allure!

Before our journey begins, I will be gathering my gear and sharing some of our must-haves with you. Additionally, as someone with culinary training, I'd also love to share our experiences from various restaurants we visit along the way.
